We were not regular clients, but when our female went into labor and only had one puppy, they didn't hesitate to see her! And they have extremely nice staff too.

It’s about a 45 minute drive from where I live. But unfortunately where I live there are no other hospitals or animal clinics that are open. So I had to take my cat to the animal emergency center in Watsontown. The staff is extremely nice, the woman at the front desk was so polite and cheerful, which makes you feel better bringing your animal as soon as you walk in the door, you feel welcomed and reassured right away. The gentleman vet tech that my Piper had, was extremely informative and took his time explaining everything to me and showed me exactly how to administer her medication’s. Dr. Naugle, is such a wonderful doctor. I wish we lived closer and she had her own practice! You can honestly tell between the doctors who chose their profession out of love not for the money. Thank you, Dr. Naugle for your compassion towards Piper and all the animals that you see.

We had to take our dog, Marshall in for emergency care on Mother's Day. From the start, they were kind to us. Unfortunately, we had to make the decision to put him down. They gave us all the time we needed. They were comforting and understanding. They sent us a thoughtful card with his nose and paw prints in it; it was unexpected and beautiful. For being complete strangers to them, they didn't make us feel like that.

On the evening of May 3,2026, our beloved bischon, Luna was attacked by a much larger dog and critically injured. After being refused by 3 other emergency hospitals, we finally got her to Watsontown. The staff assessed and stabilized her while offering us a private room to decompress while waiting for updates. Dr.Jasmine Hoffman and her team were fast, compassionate and professional. After Dr. Hoffman determined Luna's needs were greater than she could provide, she called numerous hospitals until she found a place that could accept her. The receiving hospital also told us the Watsontown team did an amazing job preparing her for transport. I have no doubt they saved her life and we are forever grateful. During her week long hospitalization (at another hospital), the Watsontown staff reached out several times to check on Luna. Wow! So caring!! Highly recommend if emergency vet services are needed!

It was New Year's Eve when our morkie went stiff as a board and was clearly in pain. We took him to the Animal
Emergency Center where they took a blood sample and x-rays. The blood sample revealed the possibility of an infection related to Lyme and the X-ray showed that, in his neck, there was a pinched nerve. The vet told us that the antibiotic would treat the Lyme-related infection, and that the neck would ossify given time - and that's just what happened. The pain meds helped him relax and with care, the neck ossified. And it turned out that the Lyme-related infection was giving him loose stools - which also cleared up. We are so fortunate to have the Animal Emergency Center when we need them!
